Deb' Going Away Party

On of our newest members to His Mansion is leaving this weekend and she is going back home to get married in September. We are all extremely happy for her but sad to see her go as her stay was only short. This was the lady who took over my job. We went to Karen's backyard and had an outdoor pizza party. While outside here was the view. You know how much I love scenery!!!

Squirrel

Looking out my window this evening I was reminded of the movie Oliver when Oliver says, "Please sir. I want some more." What do you think?

Guess what? I think he found something.

Lunar Moth

Haven't seen a lot of butterflies this summer but saw a Lunar Moth today. Look at its' antennas and the underside of its' body. The antennas look like leaves and the underside of its' body was like fluff. Amazing the creations of God.

New Neighbors 6.17.07

Hi all
Just found out we have new neighbors. This evening at about 6.30pm we were having our dinner on our porch which you can see in the picture and in the woods we saw a mother bear with 2-3 cubs. They were as close as the edge of our lawn as shown in the picture with the porch. Amazing. I have always wanted to see a bear but God blessed me and went the extra mile. It was funny cause as she started to get closer we slowy picked up our plates and backed into our living room. Of course then I got the camera and as she headed back into the woods I stood on the porch and took these pictures. If you double click on them you will get a better view. Enjoy.

Trip to Washington DC

Over the weekend Chris and I, his mum Sue and Gary and my dad and brother Paul went to Washington. We had a long day but it was great seeing all the sights. It was my dad's and Paul's first time there. I'm sure there will be many more times to come. The fountain and the New Hampshire sign is at the World War 2 Memorial. We went to see it at night which was so nice and of course the other picture is of during the day. There is a wall with 400 stars and each star represents 100 American men and women who died in World War 2. This is the other picture you see.
Here also is the Capitol building and the White House. George was busy so we didn't disturb him!!
